Replies, appeals, writ petitions, case summaries, timelines and liability figures are generated automatically, in part by artificial intelligence. They are a starting point for a professional, not a finished product.

Automated output contains errors

In particular, and from experience:

• figures can be grouped or attributed wrongly, so a demand may be shown against the wrong head or paragraph;
• scanned and bilingual documents can be misread;
• dates, including limitation dates, can be wrong;
• case citations can be inaccurate, superseded, or entirely non-existent and must be verified against the reports;
• a document can be missed altogether.

Before you file anything

Check every fact, figure, date, limitation period, statutory provision and citation against the original record. The professional who signs the pleading is responsible for it.
